Off campus access to electronic resources

The new route to access electronic library resources from home our is now up and running.

You must have a valid UL computer account to use this service.

Open the web page at: https://proxy.lib.ul.ie/login
Login with the Username and Password you normally use to access these resources,

If you encounter users access problems or difficulties with specific databases please email dislib@ul.ie and note sufficient detail for us to know what might be going wrong.

Glucksman Library Audio Tour

If you have missed out on an orientation tour of the Library, or would just like to investigate the Library and the services that it offers in more detail, why not download a podcast of the Library tour onto an MP3 player or iPOD and listen to it while you guide yourself around the Library building. The tour takes approximately 15 minutes in total.

Renew your library books online

To renew your library books go to http://www.ul.ie/~library/ click on Library Catalogue and select My Account from flags on top right of screen and follow instructions:

Please type your Borrower Number (student or staff ID number) in the box below, then click logon.Click on reset to clear any mistakes.
1. Enter borrower number (preceded by 0)

2. Click on logon or reset buttons
To return to previous screen, click on back

Follow instructions to renew books. If your books are required by another borrower you will not be able to renew them.

Library Podcast Audiotour now available

Funded by QIFAC, and with the help of UL students and library staff, we have produced an audiotour to guide you through the library building and services.

So, if you missed orientation and have 15 minutes to spare, download the audiotour from the library website http://www.ul.ie/~library/podcast.html or borrow an MP3 player from the information desk.

There is also a text version and detailed floor plans available to help you find your way around.The first 400 to use the tour can claim a photocopying card courtesy of the UL/Ulster Bank Enablement Fund.
